I have purchased my ticket and downloaded to my phone, why is there talk of printing it?

Each ticket has a unique QR code which we scan at the gate to check authenticity and check it has not already been used.  Tickets on your phone sometimes do not scan - No Scan - No Entry!  Printed tickets are faster and more reliable for scanning.

Our car parks change around each year - there are some car parks we have used in the past not being used this year.  W3W is a great navigation tool to get you right to the entrance of the correct car park.

Ticket says it is ‘per car’.  What if I have a 7-seater vehicle?

Maximum vehicle size is 5.5 metres

Will there be enough room to park a camper van?

OK,

The car parks get very chaotic when everyone is arriving and leaving – cars and small vans are easier to turn around on a forest track! 

While there are no height limits, we don't allow anything over 5.5 metres in length

If I purchase an e ticket do timings of the event allow us to see more than one stage?

Generally,

Tickets are NOT transferable between car parks.

Spectator pages will give you timings and locations, with a little planning you can see lots of action by parking in 1 place.

We usually park at High Cross but can’t find tickets available this year?

Hiya,

High Cross is NOT a car park this year.  High Cross is used as a VIP area for our sponsor with no public access.  We have three car parks with full details on the website.

What are the Car Park Like?

Good question,

We call them car parks but in fact they are gravel forest roads and therefore surfaces are rough.

Is there a disabled car park?

Sorry,

As an event we do not have a Disabled Car Park – if you get to High Barn early (7am) you may be first in the queue and nearest to the walk in.  The walk in is rough forest tracks.

Can I stay overnight on the official car parks?

Sorry No,

The car parks will be locked until we open on Saturday morning.  Grizedale Campsite is open all year around.  Including space for small vans.  They have Yurts, Pods, and Shepherds Huts.

Can I park at Kennels and Moor Top?

Forestry England car parks at Kennels and Moor Top will remain open. These are operated by FE -  totally separately from Grizedale Stages Rally car parks.

Can I bring my dogs and Kids?

Mmmm,

We don’t “ban” dogs but would really advise leaving them at home.

Kids?  We would just warn that Motorsport is expensive – they might get the bug!

Are we free to find our own spectating place and watch from there or is it only specific areas we can watch from? 

Yes and No,

If you are new to the sport please use the spectator areas and follow the marshal’s instructions.
